"It is the perfect place for some peace a quite as well as adventures with a little one. Our family slept amazingly after playing and hiking outdoors during the day and enjoying the warm evenings together with French food and wine.
The beds have high quality mattresses and lovely, fresh bedsheets which was definitely a plus for us: we appreciated John and Eloise’s eye for detail for every aspect of our stay."
“We had a wonderful experience at The chateau. Eloise and John were great hosts. Maison Jourdaine is clean and comfortable - it has a modern feel to it, while preserving many of the original features.
The property is very quiet and situated in a stunning region. We had a great time exploring the area. Eloise even gave us a suggested itinerary for the week and made every effort to ensure we had a great experience.
Our biggest regret is that we did not stay longer.”
"We had a wonderful few days in Maison Jourdaine at Freyssinet. The place was perfect for exploring by bike and Eloise and John couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful with storing and rebuilding our bicycles after travelling.
The roads around the area are great for cycling: with moderate hills, spectacular views, and virtually empty of cars. After long days on the bike we enjoyed the pool and a BBQ - we are already planning our next cycling summer holiday here!"
“Not all those who wander are lost.”
